XPD CAIRNS FEATURE PROGRAM TO AIR ON TV
The program is scheduled on ONE HD for:
Wednesday 21st of July @ 1730-1800 EST
Saturday 24th of July @ 1330-1400 EST

Greetings!

Follow a story about guts and glory (and a fair bit of pain and suffering) as ONEHD screens a doco about 2010's XPD - Australia's only expedition-length adventure race - as it hits the extreme girt, dirt and waterways of Far North Queensland. From biking, hiking and paddling through the unforgiving outback beyond Cairns, to rafting down the Tully and pushing a wheelbarrow (yep, a wheelbarrow) through the red dust, Outer Edge was there as this race took competitors to the edge...and then hit them with the world's most painful plant: the evil stinging tree. Tough guys crying, people with leeches on their eyes, teams resorting to licking moisture from leaves and drinking their own wee to survive race stages... sound like your sort of tea time viewing? Click here for a sneak preview.

A full feature on the XPD will also appear in the next edition of Outer Edge

Find out more about the next XPD, to be held in Tasmania in November 2011 - which is also the World Championships - here.
